Candidates who fulfill the following criteria are eligible to take NEET PG exam:

  3. Candidates must have completed one year of Internship or are likely to complete Internship on or before 3oth June 2021. 
  4. Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Undergraduate Medical Qualification from Medical Colleges outside India must have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) which is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). Further, such candidates must be registered with MCI/State Medical Council and must have  completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 30th June, 2021.

Yes, NEET PG is mandatory for Foreign National seeking PG medical admission in medical colleges in India.

Foreign National possessing Primary medical degree from a Foreign University/Institute can write NEET PG exam without MCI registration. The MCI may grant temporary registration to Foreign National for the duration of the PG medical course limited to the medical college to which he/she is admitted on payment of the prescribed registration fee. The temporary registration will be issued by the MCI to Foreign National only if such Foreign National is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his/her own country where from he/she has obtained Primary Medical Qualification, duly recognized by the concerned Medical Council.

Eligible candidates can apply for NEET PG entrance exam by submitting their application form online on NBE website. The following sequence shall be observed while filling NEET PG application form:

  1. Fill the NEET PG registration form for obtaining User ID and Password
  2. User ID and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number and Email ID
  3. Login to Application portal using User ID and Password
  4. Fill all the required details in the NEET PG application form
  5. Upload Photograph and Signature in desired formats
  6. Choose NEET PG exam center
  7. Pay NEET PG application fees
  8. Take a print out of the filled NEET PG application form with Transaction ID printed on it

The prescribed NEET PG application form fee is Rs. 3835 including GST for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs. 5015 for General/OBC candidates including GST. The application fee should be remitted through payment gateway using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet banking.

Candidates must follow the guidelines given below for successful uploading of Photograph:

  1. Photograph must be a passport size color photograph that is recently clicked (not more than 6 months old) with white background, without border and clearly showing the candidate’s face
  2. Photograph must have Name of the candidate and Date of capturing the photograph at the bottom of the photograph
  3. Scanner dpi should be 200 dpi
  4. The dimension of the image must be 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height)
  5. The image should be in .jpg/.jpeg format with size less than 80 Kb
