The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released official notification regarding Mop up round of PG medical counselling. As per the on notification, the mop-up counselling for Government and Management quota seats will be done separately through web conferencing on 27 July 2020.
The candidates who deposit fee money in advance shall only be eligible to participate in the mop-up counselling. Sliding from one college to the other will be allowed and accordingly candidates who have already joined the college allotted in previous round also can participate.
All the eligible candidates shall receive a link from CENTAC regarding web conferencing. In case of difficulty in participating in the mop-up round through web conferencing due to connectivity issues, the candidates will be allowed to call on the given phone number and choose the PG medical seats.
CENTAC mop-up counselling will be done in sessions. In the first session, reservation will be allowed for Government quota sears. Thereafter, unfilled PG medical seats will be converted into unreserved PG medical seats and offered as per merit.
As per the CENTAC mop-up counselling schedule, the web conferencing for Reserved Government quota seats will be done from 9:00 AM. All eligible UT of Puducherry candidates with reservation can participate in this session. The web conferencing for Unreserved Government quota seats will start from 9:30 AM in which all eligible UT of Puducherry candidates can participate. The web conferencing for Management quota seats will begin from 10:00 AM onwards in which all eligible candidates can participate.
The candidates who have joined medical colleges till the second round counselling are eligible for CENTAN mop-up counselling. The candidates who have not taken PG medical admission to the college allotted in the second round are also eligible to participate but the registration fee paid during the second round will be forfeited.
The candidates are advised to verify the list of joined candidates which is published on the official CENTAC website. If the name of the candidate who has been allotted PG medical seat in the second round, paid fee is not found in the list, the candidate is advised to send details before 5:00 pm on 26 July 2020 to email@example.com.
During Mop-up counselling, the PG medical seats will be allotted only after the entire tuition fee is paid, preferably by way of DD (Demand Draft) or through RTGS/NEFT; otherwise seat will not be allotted. For this purpose the candidates can either transfer the tuition fee in advance to CENTAC account or deposit DD for fee amount in favour of CENTAC. In case of NEFT/RTGS, transfer amount credited will be refunded if seat is not allotted. In case of DD, the same will be returned.
If the candidate fails to join the allotted medical college after Mop-up counselling, then an amount of Rs.2,00,000 will be forfeited. In case, the medical college is not able to fill the PG medical seat from the 1:10 list sponsored by CENTAC, then entire tuition fee will be forfeited. In case if CENTAC is able to fill the seats then the fee paid after deducting Rs. 2,00,000 will be refunded to the candidate after 6 months’ time.
The candidates who will be allotted PG medical seats in the mop-up counselling should join the allotted medical college on or before 3:00 PM of 29 July 2020 either physically or through online.
Documents to be shown at the time of counselling: NEET PG Rank Card, Documents for reservation claimed and Proof of Fee paid (NEFT/RTGS reference or DD).
