Nepal Common Medical Entrance Exam UG Notification

The Nepal Medical Education Commission has released notification for online registrations to select Foreign Candidates for medical admissions to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, BPH and other health professional programs run by all the medical colleges in Nepal. Interested candidates can fill the online applications from March 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM to April 25, 2021 till 05:00 PM in the official portal of Nepal Medical Education Commission.

The detailed examination schedule will be published prior 15 days of the examination. The deadline of depositing fee of NPR 8000 to any branch of Himalayan Bank Limited is 22nd April, 2021. 8.25% of Government Colleges/Academies, 33% seats in Private colleges run by Nepalese Management Team and 50% seats in Private colleges run by Nepalese and Foreign Management Team will be available for foreign candidates. 

The documents required for filling up the application form are last six digits of the Transaction Reference number (TRN), Aadhar or Passport, Passport size photographs, Transcript of 10+2 or equivalent and respective council registration certificate. Admit cards are to be downloaded after the successful completion of application form. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  1.  50% aggregate/2.4 GPA/equivalent percentage in 10+2 or equivalent exam containing Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2.  50% in the entrance examination.
  3.  All candidates who have passed in the Nepal medical entrance exam will be given first priority while those who have qualified in the national level entrance examination of their respective countries with 50%/50th Percentile of marks will be given second priority. 
  4.  All candidates who have successfully filled the form within the given time.
