In an effort to strengthen the basic infrastructure of the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has announced that government is focused on building the infrastructure of the state and has assured that work on 3 new medical colleges in the state is going to start soon.
Uttarakhand is moving steadily on the path of progress, so said the CM virtually to the reporters as he is in isolation after testing positive for Corona. With these three new medical colleges in Uttarakhand, the state will have total number 9 medical colleges including AIIMS, Rishikesh. This will not only strengthen the infrastructure but would also add to the number of seats for medical admissions for medical aspirants present in the state. These medical colleges will be established in Rudrapur, Haridwar and Pithorgarh cities of the state.
The minister also added that the government is trying to create better health facilities for people and the remote villages of the state are the priority of the government. Under this, an additional 138 ambulances have been added under the 108 emergency services. The recruitment on doctors, nurses and professors is also going to begin soon.
