Maulana Azad Medical College, one of the top government medical colleges in New Delhi was initiated in the year 1958 to provide quality medical education to the medical aspirants. The medical college is run by the Government of Delhi.

The medical college has been named after the great patriot and freedom fighter Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Undergraduate Medical Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking MBBS Admission in one of the best medical colleges in India i.e. Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi must have

  • Completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of MBBS admission.
  • Passed HSC examination (Academic Stream of 10+2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects like - English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany & Zoology) / Biotechnology and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying Entrance Exam. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL), the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates. In respect of PwD candidates, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 45% instead.

 

MBBS Entrance Exam
